Jehoshaphat Research was founded by Victor Bonilla, a financial fraud investigator, columnist and fund manager. In 2016, Victor was ranked the #1 performing short seller of all time on Sumzero.com out of 10,000 members.

In 2021, Victor began exposing corporate frauds and stock bubbles under the pen name Jehoshaphat Research. He went public with Jehoshaphat’s identity in 2023.

Before founding Jehoshaphat Research, Victor was a specialist in forensic accounting at large hedge funds. He was a Portfolio Manager at AllianceBernstein, an Analyst at Carlson Capital Management, and a Partner at Lawton Park Capital Management.

Victor has an MBA from The Wharton School and a BA in History from the University of Pennsylvania. He is Co-President of the Wharton Hedge Fund Network and a frequent lecturer to universities on stock frauds.
